What are the special features of Samsung Galaxy S8? Galaxy Note 7 was presented last fall, and since that was the first exploding phone we we were excited what we were presented this time… We expected top specifications and something that stood out from the competitors. Did we get that? What can you expect of Samsung Galaxy S8?
We know Apple. When iPhone 8 is coming you will probably have to pay 1100 $ or more. When Samsung introduce Galaxy S8 price is only 800 $. They will probably reduce it more before the iPhone 8 launch. All in all it seems to be a good price.
What can you expect of Samsung Galaxy S8?
The design is beautiful. We already love Samsung’s curved details, and we are happy that both Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 come with curved screen. It runs Snapdragon 835 chipset will be super fast, so it’s something to look forward to. Both phones are the same except of battery and display. The pixels are impressing: 2,960 x 1440px. We still wonder who really need that many pixels on a screen between 5.8″ and 6.2″? And why doesn’t Samsung launch a 5 incher to compete with iPhone users that want a handy phone that is not too big? When that is said, the 5.8-inch S8’s display is less than a millimeter wider than the 5.1-inch S7. S7 users will get used to it very fast. But the iPhone users will find it too big in their pockets…
The finger print sensor is now placed at the same place as Huawei did with Honor 8. And we have no problem with that location. It has both a USB-C port and a 3.5 mm headphone plug which will be appreciated by all the people that wrote bad things about Apples solution. It is water- and dust resistant just like we expected.
It runs Android 7.0 Nougat which is a good and stable operative system, and Samsung uses Grace UX as their own UI. Instead of Google Now Samsung uses Bixby for voice controlling your device, and it seems to work well. Samsung also launches new wireless chargers, cases and Gear VR and even a Gear 360 camera.
If you want a premium phone this will be the best choice so far.
