A totally new tramway line is now running on the totally new tram tracks of Hubska street, from Dyrekcyjna street to Glinianej street.

Tram Line 16 in Wroclaw, Poland just Opened

Tram Line 16 opened on 22nd of June 2019

From June 22, 2019 (Saturday) the public transportation company in Wroclaw launched a new small section that is only 900m long. This section is located in Hubska Street in the town. So now this southern western city in Poland could get a totally new tram line.

Since yesterday you can now take the tramway line 16 and there is a slight change to the bus route number 145 in the area too.

The tramway line will travel along the route:

Tarnogaj – Tarnogajska – Armii Krajowej – Bardzka – Hubska – Pułaskiego – pl. Wróblewskiego – pl. Społeczny – most Grunwaldzki – pl. Grunwaldzki – Rondo Reagana – Skłodowskiej-Curie – most Zwierzyniecki – Wajdy – Wróblewskiego – ZOO ZOO – Wróblewskiego – Wajdy – most Zwierzyniecki – Skłodowskiej-Curie – Rondo Reagana – pl. Grunwaldzki – most Grunwaldzki – pl. Społeczny – pl.
Wróblewskiego – Pułaskiego – Hubska – Bardzka – Armii Krajowej – Tarnogajska – Tarnogaj

The number 145 buses from Aleja Armii Krajowej will be directed in both directions via Bardzka Street to the Gaj loop, which is located at Świeradowska Street near the intersection with Bardzka Street and will run in the Sępolno – Gaj – Sępolno route.

Passengers who bought a season ticket on line 145 before June 22
2019, they will be able to travel without any extra fees:

– tram 16 on the entire route;
– tram lines 8 and buses 125 and 325 on the Tarnogaj – Dworzec Autobusowy – Tarnogaj route.
