Yesterday, Oslo had a small but serious tram derailment. This caused humongous traffic jams and buses had to bypass the scene. Its not often that tram derailments happens, but yesterday a truck went into the tram which then derailed.
There was no fatal victims, but it is reported that one had to be taken to hospital. Distrita wanted to bring you the news yesterday, but we waited for green light from the person giving us the rights to use his photos of the accident.
At 15.00 the derailment happened, .. at around 19.15 they managed to get the damaged tram onto the tram tracks again yesterday. The truck which run into the tram had some leaking, but it was only diesel fuel only,… so this could have been much worse than it was.
