Ingredients of the traditional Mexican Bread

  • 1 kg flour

  • 15 gr milk powder

  • 30 gr yeast

  • 2 pcs orange zest

  • 50 gr figs
  • 50 gr orange candied
  • 50 gr lemon confit
  • 50 gr red cherries
  • 50 gr citron
  • Neutral brightness
  • White biscuit
  • 100 gr vegetable shortening
  • 100 gr sugar glass
  • 150 gr flour

PREPARATION, how to do it:

Mix all dry ingredients.

Add the eggs.

Knead and add butter and the scratches.

Ferment for 30 minutes until it grows to double and form the thread.

Varnish the egg with an egg. Decorate with dried fruits.

Rest again.

For the cookie: add butter, add sugar and flour, glue on some parts of the thread.
