The best quality diamonds come from all over the world and are sold at different auction houses at hefty prices.

Billed as one of the world’s great diamonds and the most expensive one, the diamond “The Graff Pink”, weighs 24.78-carat and has a rare pink color,  the exceptionally rare pink stone was sold at Sotheby’s in Geneva, Switzerland on 16 November 2010  at a whooping price of $46 million . Laurence Graff, a London jewelry dealer, bought the diamond – “It is the most fabulous diamond I’ve seen in my career,” Graff said.
