We have always fallen in love in slim and beautiful gadgets. And that was Apple’s formula to beat Microsoft in their early days. Creative people like to have a cool, thin and light-weight gadget as their working machine, not a bulky and heavy one. The new Razer Blade Stealth got our attention because it looked sexy! When we also checked that the specs were good, we were really amazed. A powerful and elegant computer that is not too thick!
Razer people are not shy to promote the new Razer Blade Stealth massively
In the commercial they write that their device “raises the standard for ultra-mobility and powerful Ultrabook performance. The incredibly thin CNC aluminum chassis encases the latest 7th Gen Intel® Core™ processors, up to 16GB of RAM and the most visually stunning 12.5” 4K or QHD high-resolution displays available. For extreme performance, the Blade Stealth fuses seamlessly with the optional Razer Core via Thunderbolt™ 3, delivering external desktop graphics and expanded connectivity.”.
We wanted to find out if the new Razer is so fantastic as the commercials say.
The perfect travel gadget?
We found it immediately interesting for travels. If we travel on budget we seldom check in a bag, and if we fly with Ryanair our small Samsonite suitcase must have a maximum weight of 10 kilos, and when the suitcase has a 2 kilo weight itself, we have only 8 kilos left for luggage, including the laptop and charging cable. “Slice through your daily tasks with the insanely thin Razer Blade Stealth. At only 0.52” thin and 2.84lbs, the Razer Blade Stealth is extremely portable, making it the Ultimate Ultrabook” say the Razer people proudly in the commercial. According to the website the battery will last for 9 hours, which is quite good! And the build quality sounds impressing: “The Razer Blade Stealth’s highly durable chassis is CNC-milled from a block of aircraft grade aluminum for durability.” That means we should not worry when we send it through the security control belt.
Amazing image quality – choose 4K or Quad – and touch screen HD
The 12.5” Razer Blade Stealth’s breathtaking display is available in two high resolutions: 4K at 3840×2160 pixels and Quad HD at 2560×1440 pixels. Both IGZO (Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide) displays are touch-enabled* with wide viewing angles and high-color saturation to provide unmatched color and image quality.
Review: The New Razer Blade can compete with MacBook Pro
Well, we haven’t got it yet, so we wanted to share som reviews from others on Youtube.
This reviewer sounds neutral, and professional, and he compares it to the Macbook Pro. That may be the most relevant competitor. You get much better processor, ram, yeah, the specs are much more impressing. He is also very happy with the big keyboard. If you are on the Windows” side this is probably the thinnest and most exciting machine. The reviewer paid 1399$. We have found prices even lower, down to 999$ on Razers website, and they may also give you an extra discount if you sign up for their newsletter or google “discount razer”. It may be worth it.
