On Stefan’s Computer Collection Vienna website, you can get to know the Amiga 1000 VELVET. This special Amiga 1000 version was made 6 months before the official presentation of the Amiga by Commodore at Lincoln Center in 1985.
The special thing about Amiga 1000 VELVET is that it had only 128KB RAM, instead of 256KB RAM like the official version of Amiga 1000. It also had a 128KB expansion port on the front. Read more about this piece of gem in the computing history on Stefan’s Computer Collection Vienna page.
Thanks to Stefan for letting Distrita use his pictures of Amiga 1000 VELVET.
