The main Zoo of Sydney is the Taronga Zoo is located in Mosman, 15 minutes from Circular Quay. It is about 2km north of the Sydney Opera House. It is across the bay.

You can take the boat from Circular Quay to Taronga Zoo directly. With the train lines T1 and T9 you can reach the zoo by going off at Milsons Point which is one station away from Town Hall. From there you can walk.
