The first department to exclusively ensure that consumers worldwide gets the service that they deserve. People will get it faster and more reliable support and service for smartphone and software updates. Centrally located at LG’s new research and development center in Magok-dong, west of Seoul, the Software Upgrade Center proves that LG takes consumers’ wishes and needs seriously.
LG Smartphone OS updates at one place
Software Upgrade Center not only becomes a department for developing and delivering OS updates for LG smartphones. By continuously testing stability for hardware and software compatibility. After updates, the Center will be responsible for ensuring a consistent user experience on LG devices.
The creation of the center will enable LG to implement OS updates faster in all countries where LG smartphones are available to ensure that customers across the world get the same quality level. One of the first steps. LG’s new Software Upgrade Center will be able to roll out Android Oreo.
This service starts in Korea, followed by other key markets. Which is important to do.

To see LG moving onwards by giving better service for its customers is a really good step. Any mobile company should do this as the customers will be more happy. Customers loves to be treated in a positive way. Apple does a quite nice job with their Apple stores all over the world also they make sure that stores selling. They are unique in that way. Also a pretty good reason for Apple’s success with their iPhone smartphones.
A software upgrade center is not only needed in South Korea, but also in other parts of the world. This will increase the verdict of LG mobile smartphone products for sure.
