The fourth semi-final of Romania’s national Eurovision Song Contest show called Selecţia Naţională was held in Turda, Romania and the following three acts qualified for the final on 25th February:
- Claudia Andas – The One
- Feli – Bună De Iubit
- TIRI – Deşert De Sentimente
Romania’s Selecţia Naţională has a total of five semi-finals, each held in a different city. It seems like Eurovision is getting more and more popular. There are many more semi-final shows in each countries it seems. Iceland got 3 semi-finals and Sweden 6 semi-finals.
Romania brought yodel and rap together at Eurovision Song Contest 2017
Last year, Romania brought yodel and rap to the stage. They managed to reach the final even. Ilinca and Alex Florea did it very well. But it seemed as Alex Florea had this too big crush for Ilinca and made a quite interesting kiss at the stage on the final show. They managed to bring yodal and rap together in a song that is quite catchy.
Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Portugal this year! So, it will be interesting which artist Romania will choose this year. Distrita will follow up for you.
