Europe, Greenland: The 17 year old musician Nikolaj Loenstrom from Qaqortoq dares to dream big. He was number 4 on iTunes with his Greenlandic music.
– I would like to help young people in pursuing their dreams, and give them a chance to record their music, even if they don’t have a lot of money, says Nikolaj.
The power of the bass makes your heart beat along in the studio, where Nikolaj is working on mixing his music. He is doing the final touches on his upcoming album, to be released in June 2014.
He discovered his passion when he was 9 years old
The South Greenlandic Nikolaj Loenstrup is a very talented young man, and made his childhood dream come true, by releasing his music before he turned 18. The support from his fans is his inspiration to keep going. His passion for music began when he was 9 years old. He tried to record at his house using the built in microphone on the computer.
At that time he listened to, and got inspired by Greenlandic rap. This is still transparent in his music, which is a mixture of pop and rap.

The new album is primarily house music, inspired by the Danish DJ and producer Kato. Music style is new in the Greenlandic music scene, and Nikolaj hopes that it will be well received by the Greenlandic DJs.
