Distrita at Mobile World Congress 2011 saw and tested the new Xperia Play device from Sony Ericsson. This nice gaming device is heading towards everyone very soon, and is also running Android 2.3. Release date is estimated to be in March and 5 games will be included with this device, one of Sony Ericsson’s spokesman at the fair told Distrita website. The controllers are surprising good and this playing device is done the right way!
The first company which introduced mobile and gaming was Nokia with their N-Gage and N-Gage QD. These was one of worlds first multimedia phones. You can listen to mp3’s, play games and even watch movies on N-Gage. Xperia Play takes this even further and introduces huge screen and good controllers. Xperia Play have everything which N-Gage didn’t have. The CPU is clocked at 1GHz, so the games will run smoothly. We at Distrita tested it and both of us must conclude that for those which likes gaming and also want a smartphone device. Then Xperia Play is a good choice for sure.
We at Distrita hopes to give you a review of this dev ice soon. Until then, you can click yourself thru our gallery.[nggallery id=2]
