Ryanair likes to joke with their customers and use the media articles in their own way… In the latest inflight magazine “Let’s Go”, you can find their crazy humor on the “Getaway Cafe” pages under the Drinks section: “Because the Toilets are still free!” We never know if Ryanair’s plan is to launch coin entrance on their toilets in the future, but at least Ryanair has got lots of free media articles based on these revolutionary ideas… In a Norwegian survey a while ago, a majority was willing to pay this toilet fee and supported Ryanair’s idea as long as the tickets are ultra cheap.
Distrita has found Oslo Rygge-Malaga tickets for 127NOK (15,5 Euros)one way (254 NOK / 31 Euros)including return) for October. That is incredibly cheap, while their closest competitor, Norwegian Air Shuttle, charges more than double always.
Ryanair also spent some advertising costs in Norwegian and Swedish newspapers some days ago to welcome Norwegian Air Shuttle to Ireland. Norwegian just has decided to register their new airplanes from Dublin, just like Ryanair. In addition, Norwegian even has established a new company in Ireland. Ryanair humor is often a bit crazy and wild, but for Ryanair all media coverage is good coverage… People forget the bad episodes very fast as the ultra cheap tickets are available.
