This is what the New York Times had to write about it. Their topic says as follow: “Bark Up or Down? Firewood Splits Norwegians” and later,… “Fifty percent complained that the bark was facing up, and the rest complained that the bark was facing down.” Norwegians do love wood yes, but broadcasting this 12 hours is something only a channel like NRK can do. They are non-commercial tv channel, so they get money from everyone which buys a TV in Norway. Its called the NRK license fee. Norwegians pay about 1250,- NOK every half year. For this Norwegians have 3 national tv channels without commercials, and more than 5 radio channels and also now also NRK.no website which is also without advertisements.
