This is a mountain where hiking trail trips are huge but still that activity is closed.
Less mountain-related accidents in 2020
In the mountains area Yamanashi Prefecture where Mountain Fuji is found. The mountain-related accident experiences saw just 5 incidents this year. In the summer of 2019, 60 people were lost, killed, or injured while hiking in the mountains of Yamanashi Prefecture in Japan.
Maybe this pandemic causes people to rethink their behavior while traveling? About their actions when travel? And the urge to accomplish things that might cause injuries or deaths.
Maybe this pandemic is here to teach us how to behave. It lets people stay more home and learn more about their actions.
