The story of the little bulldog Lenny the Lentil is warming animal hearts around the world.

Lentil was born with facial deformities such as making sure he must eat through a tube and the owner gave him up and delivered him to The Animal Rights group  in New Jersey.

The organisation decided to make an effort for the small puppy, and after publishing articles in the media, the little dog has got sponsors from around the world.

Lentil was born with cleft lip, and according to the group that takes care of him, life has been hard. He could not stay long enough with her ​​mother, and the odds were against him during his youth.

The story seems to trigger strong commitment. The interest is huge from around the world.

Lentil has got his own  blog and is on Facebook, too. The last blog post title is “Lentil is five weeks old now”. The foster mother is amazed by the attention from the whole world, but claims that it’s time consuming for her.

I have a great dog…but he drives me NUTS

Five years ago, we rescued a sweet puppy from a dumpster in January. From the get-go, he was well-behaved and affectionate. I never had a dog growing up, so I figured there would be a bit of time needed to get used to this new presence in our lives.
