Norway is a small country with only 4.6 million people. Oslo is our largest city which is our capital. It has about 600 000 people, which isn’t big compared to other capitals out there. Well, it happens that Oslo is a bit far north. Sapporo in Hokaido, Japan is just above Oslo in height towards North-Pole.
Today Oslo will have a insane temperature of 31C and sunshine! Adding to this, our sun time is from 03 in the morning until Midnight. So the sun doesn’t just go away at 18.00 (6pm),.. it stays on the sky still for many hours.
The last time we had such high temperatures was back in 1992, when I remember we got 34C record high temperature, so today is pretty near.
Why do we write about this? Because Oslo have a very cold climate almost all year. Norwegians loves to talk about the weather also. Be inspired! We are one of the countries that is pretty near North-Pole.
Have a great July day with Distrita.
