This is one of the most underrated series on Netflix. Now Season 4 is here and I’ve noticed that the comments below the official trailer on YouTube is that most think its way too underrated. Almost no media newspapers have written anything about it, but Distrita have mentioned it before. It is for sure a fantastic apocalyptic sci-fi where they all speak Portugese as the show is from Brazil.

I really recommend anyone who are tired of English speaking series to try this one. Also you must turn the English dubbing off. Keep the subtitles on if you dont understand the language and let this show entertain you. Because it does! I haven’t seen a better apocalyptic sci-fi production series in years.

I’m from the United States and watch a lot of foreign shows but no other villains in a foreign show have ever compared to Marcella and Andre for me. I would say Ezequiel because he was one of my faves but he wasn’t really bad at all. Marcella and Andre though MAAAN I NEVER thought I’d cry for villains in a show or movie but there were so many scenes with both of them that actually made me emotional.

All of the characters in this series have so emotionally and remarkable expressions which I haven’t seen in many actors. The directors of this show should be proud of the crew and the actors which are all fantastic in they field.

3% is for sure way too underrated and I hope by writing about it here that I can give this show some deserved publicity.

All you Need to Know to start watching 3% right now!

3% which in Portuguese is called Três per cento is a Brazilian postapocalyptic sci-fi series created by Pedro Aguilera, starring João Miguel and Bianca Comparato. It is a unique sci-fi production that is developed since 2009 when the independent pilot episode was released. This is the very first Portuguese-language Netflix original series and the second non-English production, after the Spanish-language series Club de Cuervos.

The series is set in an unspecified future where 20-year-old individuals of the impoverished “Inland” have the single opportunity to complete “The Process” and advance to the affluence of the distant “Offshore” society. While most of the unsuccessful candidates are simply eliminated, some fail to survive, leading to only 3% of the candidates succeeding.

The show is very good at showing the differences between the poor and the rich. It really creates a vision of what dictators can do if they got free hands. There is drama, action, humor and most of all a delightful progress. It is deserved to be seen.
