Now as Android is rising and Bada from Samsung is shining. Symbian phone Nokia E90 with its superb qwerty keyboard has given its last breath you might think?
Well,… We do not agree! Distrita has been using this incredible Symbian phone since 2007 and has to tell the truth. Nokia E90 must be one of the most stable Symbian phones ever made. It just works and the full qwerty keyboard helps a lot too.
In this article, I am explaining more about Nokia E90 and its functions and why I still love it in 2010.
Symbian is shining on Nokia E90
If there is one phone out there with almost no Symbian errors, it must be a Nokia E90. I’ve tested most of the Symbian phones like Nokia N-Gage, Nokia N70, Nokia N95, and Nokia E90. Of all of my tested Symbian phones, my heart goes for Nokia E90. Its hardware is still good and it is capable of showing 720p HD content in mp4 format in 700×352 screen mode. The internal screen is still one of the better LCD screens also and speakers have a wonderful quality.
The phone might be very big and for some quite heavy, but it is lighter than a PV or Mac laptop. I call it a mini laptop, as you have a full version of Quick Office coming with the device. Lets you work on the device. Adobe PDF reader also exists for it, so watching PDF content is not a big problem at all. You can also surf modern websites with the full support of the Opera web browser. So the device has what it takes to be on-line, even in 2010. There is also lots of software for Symbian which makes life so much easier. Symbian is still the biggest smartphone operating system and tends to hold that title for some time still.
Great Nokia device that is still a quite good phone
Nokia E90 might be 3 years old, but it is useable! It is so much more than just a cellphone. The device got video players, music players, web tools and browsers, pdf reader, and even full-blown Office package. This remarkable Phone got wi-fi and Bluetooth too. You even find apps for it such as Skype for the phone too. For its age, the Nokia E90 does its job in 2010.
Distrita likes the device and gives it 10/10 in our very first score. This smartphone from Nokia is a really great device. But with missing a touch, the Nokia E90 will be falling behind. So if Nokia released a new phone, it should be based on this one and it could be a fantastic phone! So, let’s hope for a touch version of Nokia E90 which should be lighter but with the same qwerty keyboard qualities in 2011 or later.
The smartphone market will grow and grow. Nokia did something really cool with Nokia E90. So we hope to see that Nokia will do something to win the market back again. Because they deserve it.
