This is the temporary exhibition Masterpieces of New Spain in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, a review of art, from the Spanish conquest and the proclamation of the Independence of Mexico, seeking her own expression to the influence of European culture.

From 7 March to June 3 paintings will be presented as the Flight into Egypt, by Juan Rodriguez Juarez lactation of Santo Domingo, Cristóbal de Villalpando, the appearance of the Virgin and Child in San Francisco, José Juárez and Christ comforted by angels, John Morlete Ruíz, and sculpture San Felipe de Jesus, a loan from the Metropolitan Cathedral.
