Longer days Everyday in Oslo, Norway

If you live near the north polar circle, you might have noticed that the days are noticeable longer than just 1-2 months ago. This is because of the sun and earth positions in the universe. In the winter, the northern part of the world get’s almost nothing or no sunlight at all. In summer however, it is either sunshine or sunlight 24 hours a day.

People live with this Everyday

Most of people notices the longer and shorter days in the north, because the Antarctic Circle in the south only goes thru sea and ice. Here upnorth people lives above or around the polar circle. In fact, polar circle goes thru Russia, USA, Canada, Denmark (Greenland), Norway, Sweden and Finland.

Longer days until June

Now in April we are getting longer days everyday. This will last until 21st of June, when the sun will turn and days will be getting shorter. For me that went to Indonesia for two weeks, I could really tell the difference. Now the sunlight is shining until 23.00 here in Oslo area and its only going to get more light. In the northern part of Norway the sun will however be shining 24 hours and Distrita will do everything in our power to show you how this is.
