Knight Rider is a really high-tech modern crime series where David Hasselhoff is starring as Micheael Knight. It was first aired in 1982 by NBC. The show got lots of fans very quickly, but in 1986 they decided to stop it. All of the episodes are interesting to watch, but the most epicness with this crime series is the car that is named as KITT. A talking car! KITT is an intelligent car, with blinking lights in the front and extravaganza Turbo speeds. The car is a nearly indestructible car that have won many peoples hearts. And now Knight Rider Heroes seems to continue this epicness very soon.

The show is an American television series created and produced by Glen A. Larson. The series was originally broadcast on NBC from 1982 to 1986. The show stars David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight, a high-tech modern crime fighter assisted by KITT, an advanced artificially intelligent, self-aware and nearly indestructible car. This was the last series Larson devised at Universal Television before he moved to 20th Century Fox. The plot was always to get the bad guys, that was quite popular thing in the 1980’s. There was also a huge mystery who this Michael Knight is and how KITT was actually made. Michael Knight’s boss which was acted by Edward Mulhare as Devon Miles, the leader of FLAG, who appeared in nearly every episode to provide mission details to Knight and KITT always gave the episodes the little extra.

Here in Scandinavia, TV3 was the only tv channel broadcasting this series, but they did this in the late year of 1995. Most of people knew David Hasselhoff from Baywatch instead of Knight Rider. However! On the net and nerdy people around made sure that Knight Rider never loosed its reputation.

Knight Rider rewamp in 2008
There is lots of movies and other projects that tried to reviwe Knight Rider series. The NBC’s Knight Rider rewamp in 2008 was actually going the right way, but the series was terminated due to a huge Hollywood strike. Many seems to have forgotten this strike, but it actually put many great projects on hold or canceled for all eternity.

Knight Rider from 2008, NBC
And now!.. Knight Rider Heroes
What’s next? We don’t know. There are huge rumours, but we just want to hope that they will keep KITT and give the series the push forwards that it needs. The website doesn’t say much other than “Coming Soon” and the title is now Knight Ridere Heroes. Check it out here!

All we know, is that it is Coming Soon and I om not the only one wanting a real but good rewamp or continueness of the series.
