Istanbul in Turkey gets a New Metro Line Today

Transit UpdateOn Sunday 19th of April. Turkey’s capital city Istanbul will get a new Metro line, which is named M6. It will run from Levent station which you can reach with Metro line M2 to Bogaziçi Üniversitesi.  On its way to the University station, this new M6 only bypasses 2 stations. This means that this metro line only have 4 stations in total, which makes the line one of the shortest metro lines in Istanbul.

Technical info about this Line

– M6 Line: From Levent to Bogaziçi Üniversitesi station
– Got 4 stations: 1. Levent, 2. Nispetiye, 3. Etiler and 4. Bogaziçi Üniversitesi
– Changes to other Metro line can be done on Levent station, which connects with Metro Line M2
– Opens on 19th of April 2015

Seems like this University have its own Metro connection, which is quite nice.
