Huawei’s newest phone, Huawei Mate 9 Pro, is their most luxurious mobile ever, and it’s exciting to see what they are able to do. You may find it similar to Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ but it’s just on the front side.

Beautiful user interface on the Huawei Mate 9 Pro
Huawei has cleaned up in the Android menus. It’s no longer a mess to scroll down in the settings and other submenus and we really like the new design, yeah, it’s an upgrade from Honor 8 that is also a relatively new phone.
The home screens have got new options. You can choose if you want to have the classic Huawei solution or a kind of Google solution with app folder behind of the home screens. They also feel fast and intuitive.
The battery of 4000 mAh is really good. You may skip charging one night because with normal use it lasts for 2 days.We also like the camera of Mate 9 Pro. The image quality is impressing compared to everything else we have tried from Huawei. It focuses right and the noise reduction is really good. Here you take great photos even in darker surroundings, and that’s normally the most challenging topic on today’s mobile phones.
We find it a bit strange that it is not water proof! Most mobile phones nowadays should have that feature. It is annoying if a mobile phone that costs 1000 Euros will be broken by just some rain. There are stereo speakers on the front that give relatively good sound. We love the curved design, and congratulate Huawei with their new and more exclusive design on the outside and inside of the phone. It is a really good mobile phone that we absolutely recommend if you have 1000 euros now.
