Hokkaido in Japan gets its first snow. 22 days earlier than average

Japan, Sapporo: The Japan Meteorological Agency can confirm that Hokkaido has seen its first snow of the season, three weeks earlier than normal. The agency says that this year’s first snowfall, has arrived 22 days earlier than average and 33 days earlier than last year’s. The agency thinks that the reason is because of the typhoon.

The snow came to the Mamuro neighbour, FujiTV reported. The snow also begun to settle on the Nakayama Toge mountain pass, which is the border between Sapporo city and Kimobetsu. Several mountain passes have already been closed due to snow.

Winter is coming for sure.
