On September 9th 2011, the Dubai metro’s Green Line was officially opened by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, with passenger services scheduled to start the following day. This article is updated on 10th of July 2018!

This is a 23km new line that serves new parts of Dubai. This Metro line goes between Creek and Etisalat. 8 of its channel is going underground, while the other ones is located on long bridges.

Khalid Bin Al Waleed and Union Square connects the green line with the red line. The red line in Dubai connects several districts and the Dubai airport.

Dubai Tram is built to coup with the Heat

Including having a nice Metro system. Dubai also got a tram line that can be reached with the red Metro line stopping at Damac station. Jumeirah Lake Towers is also linking it. In the future, Dubai tram will end at Mall of the Emirates.

Also the Atlantis palm tree artificial island made by Dubai can be reached by monorail also. You need to take the tram to Palm Jumeirah and change there.
