Corn bread, jojoto cake, sweet corn cake or corn cake is a dish made from corn grains in several Latin American countries
650 grams of thawed corn kernels
200 grams of Butter
5 units of Egg
1½ cups of wheat flour (210 grams)
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 can of evaporated milk
1 can of condensed milk
Steps to follow to make this recipe:
Apart, add the butter beating constantly and add the eggs one by one, hoping that one is fully integrated to incorporate the next.
Next, add the flour and baking powder to the corn and liquid mixture again.
To end the corn cake dough, combine the two mixtures together with the condensed milk, while stirring until all the ingredients are integrated.
Prepare a mold greased with oil and flour and empty the mixture into it. You can also use individual molds. Bake at 180º C. for about 60 minutes or until you see it start to brown.
