Would you be passenger on a flight where the captain was drunk and had vodka before takeoff, but still probably the country’s best pilot?

Robert Zemericks new movie “Flight” (opening January 25 in Norway) starts as a blistering thriller. Then it moves into a moral drama about honor and guilt, lies and truth.

We meet the self-destructive but very skilled pilot Whip Whitaker (Denzel Washington), who does not care about being sober when he works. When an accident occurs, he is miraculously to minimize damage in the landing and is immediately hailed as a hero, but the Board’s investigations reveal problematic issues around flight.
