Is this global warming or is it natural? How was it before the measurements started, we don’t know. But since they’ve started this temperature of 54.4C which is equal to 130F. It was set on 17th of August 2020, a year with lots of interesting things happening.
The Death Valley is a dessert that can be found in California, USA. It is one of the driest places on earth together with the Oymyakon area that I wrote about yesterday. The closest city to the Death Valley desert is Las Vegas where everyone loves to gamble.
The last record at 129F was measured in 1913!
If that National Weather Service (NWS) measurement holds up, it will have been the hottest August temperature recorded there by 3 F (1.7 C), the hottest temperature recorded in Death Valley National Park in at least a century, and one of the hottest temperatures ever recorded anywhere in the world.
It will be really interesting to see how August ends. Here in Oslo, Norway on 18th of August 2020 it is 28C even and thats one of the hottest days in August month that I’ve ever experienced.

We are all able to terraform our earth the right way if we want to. We can plant trees if we want to and make desserts shrink. But we also are capable of building huge dams that kills the nature around. I wish that more and more would think of our actions more and how we want our children’s future to be. Why do politics win so much over sense?
What can we do to stop global warming? Can we as humans work together to achieve that? Can we?
