Here is our Cantina Cortina restaurant Review. It has many times tempted me, with good smells and nice feel, right in Folketeaterpassasjen, near Youngstorget, a very central and urban part of Oslo. Today we will give you the Review: Cantina Cortina, Oslo. Do they have the best pasta in Oslo?
Stomach asks for it: Pasta, please
When the stomach cries loudly for something to eat other than ice cream, the choice is clear. We are definitely not in pizza mode after eating too many pizzas recently. Today we want to try out the Pastas!
Staff at the job this day was a mix of Swedes and Italians. The Italian gang created a good atmosphere, and was well entertaining, without being annoying. They came with the menu after just one minute and wished us welcome with a soft, Italian accent. They were a little sceptical when we however would not have the wine to the food, but only water. But water came on the table without murmuring or complaining in any way. Some of the girls were very charming and their eyes were awesome.
Wow-factor at Cantina Cortina Restaurant
As always, it was the spagetti bolognese that was picked from the menu, and WOW! Cantina Cortina now Thrones at the top when it comes to the pasta bolognese and spagetti bolognese. We got the feeling of homemade, authentic Italian food, with a wonderful taste. The filling was dynamic, and tastes evolving in the mouth, as I came to the of the pizza. On one occasion there came a wave of hot air and lots of non/stekeos from the restaurant, with the consequent Italians that waving their arms and looked really sexy and hot, beautiful ladies with short skirts and big cleavage making us men happy. The waitresses were very friendly and smiled to us and even flirted a bit.
An memorable experience
All in all, this was a memorable experience, and the great food and atmosphere make that Cantina Cortina highly recommended for everyone! Great place to have dinner, although it’s a bit expensive. We paid approximately 200 kroner per person (25 euros) for only one portion and a bottle of water.

Great, central location. Perfect spot to visit on a cold day, as this passage is under roof. Dinner is authentic, Italian food, and you get the feeling of homemade. Exactly what you expect of an Italian pizzeria. we would love to come back again. Please note that the portions are quite small and you probably need to eat something else afterwards to not feel hungry. But maybe this is the place where you get the best pasta in Oslo. The prices are a bit above average, especially since the portions are not very generous. Fast service, almost no waiting time to order or pay the bill. Our rating: 4 stars.
