Rice is one of the staple foods of many cultures, but in most cases the variety of white rice is consumed, while the consumption of basmati, wild, red or whole rice is minor.

Ingredients Brown rice with chicken and vegetables
1 cup brown rice
1 1/2 lt water (approx)
Consommé of chicken (2 teaspoons)
1/4 Onion
1/2 chile morron yellow / red cut julienne
1/2 green morron chili cut into julienne
1/2 cup carrots in thin and short strips
Corn beans to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil


We will put in a large pot the water to boil, we will add the consomé and the piece of onion. We can put some garlic salt in the water to improve the taste. Once rinsed our rice and the water is boiling it we add it.
We must check that the grain of the rice bursts, only that this rice is different from the one we make regularly, so there is no exact time. It took me about 45 min and I should have added a glass of water.

When the rice is fully cooked, we will remove it from the fire and strain. I rinse it lightly, but that’s to taste.
In a pan we will put some olive oil or butter. And once hot, we will stir up the chili peppers, and gradually we will incorporate the carrot and the corn kernels.
