The labour party in Bergen (Norway) have spoken. They want Bergen Light Rail to go underground, which is an excellent news. Bergen is Norway’s second biggest city, and is in same size as Porto in Portugal.
Bergen Light Rail is one of Europe’s most spectacular tram lines, as when you ride it you can on a clear day, see the mountains on each side. The nature around Bergen is breath-taking.
So now, it seems like there will be 3 underground stations in Bergen centrum on the way to Åsane. Distrita thinks that this is a good solution, but one of these underground stations should be bigger and there should be built more tunnel entrances for future Bergen Light Rail lines.
