World’s cheapest fuel consumption!
Norwegians love stations wagons more than anybody else. While consuments in others countries care about design and the look, space is most important for the Norwegians. Families with kids totally dominate the car market, and it’s a strange view. There is almost impossible to find a sedan on the Norwegian roads! Seriously!
That’s why the Sportback edition of Audi A3 is a bestseller in Norway. It is spacious and practical, even for small families with its 5 doors.
Now, Audi announced that the car comes in a vigorous but very economical, rechargeable hybrid version. The time where the e-tron cars were concept cars is over – this is an upcoming production model, although we certainly do not get it in stores until next year. In particular, it will attract attention that it only takes 35 grams per kilometer of CO2 emissions, and that will save the buyer a lot of tax dollars (In Norway, the CO2 taxes are ridiculous high. Even the consumption is shocking low, which is given to very low 0.15 liters per 10 kilometers!
Audi A3 e-tron will be according to the manufacturer a both compact and sporty rechargeable (plug-in) hybrid. The power comes from a gasoline engine of 1.4 liters that are connected with an electric motor and automatic transmission S tronic. The modified gasoline engine 1.4 TFSI delivers 150 horse power and the electric motor also supplies 75 kW or 102 horsepower. Overall, the combined effect (the so-called system performance) is now 204 horsepower with a torque of 350 newton meters. 0-100 km / h be completed in 7.6 seconds and the top speed will be 222 km / h.
Audi A3 e-tron will therefore have a consumption of only 0.15 liters of diesel per 10 km. Hybrid Audi can run on only gasoline engine, combined as hybrid or the electric motor alone. The two power sources can overlap. The electric motor has a maximum torque from start to 2,000 rpm, while the petrol engine has its powerful registry between 1750 and 4000 rpm. Audi A3 e-tron can use the electric motor alone at speeds up to 130 km / h and has a range of electric power – that is purely electric mode – at 50 km.
With 50 km electric range, this may be the highlight of the A3 model range.
This is great news for the enviroment, and Distrita loves Audi for it. The e-tron version will come for sale Summer 2014.
