Metro Malaga finally opens to El Perchel

Finally. Our news got that Malaga have now extended its Metro line to El Percel, which is in the city center and underground. It is also nice to know that El Percel is just beside the main railway station in Malaga.

L1 and L2 are operated as a single continuous line with trams reversing direction at El Perchel.

At El Perchel the metro provides interchange with the existing Cercanías (suburban) line to the Airport and Fuengirola, and to the mainline services (AVE high speed link to Córdoba and Madrid). The railway station is called Málaga María Zambrano.

Services run from 06.30 to 23.00 Monday to Thursday, 06.30 to 01.30 on Fridays, 07.00 to 01.30 on Saturdays and 07.00 to 23.00 on Sundays and public holidays.
